Meet Dave — The Eye Behind the Lens

Hi, I’m Davedjy Florestal, but most people just call me Dave — a passionate photographer with a deep love for storytelling and a unique way of seeing the world through my lens. I specialize in wedding, engagement, portrait, and event photography, and I’m known for my attention to detail, creative perspective, and ability to capture authentic emotion in every frame.

Based in the Delmarva area, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients — from couples and families to brands and creatives — helping bring their stories to life through powerful, beautiful imagery. My work blends technical precision with an understanding of light, composition, and feeling, allowing me to create photographs that don’t just look good — they mean something.

Outside of photography, I’m someone who lives and breathes creativity and connection. I’m a musician at heart, often found playing the piano, drums, or flute, and I love the way music sharpens my rhythm, patience, and emotional sensitivity — skills I bring into every photo session. I’m also passionate about sports, especially basketball, soccer, and volleyball, which keep me grounded, focused, and constantly inspired by movement, teamwork, and moments of triumph.

Whether I’m capturing an intimate portrait, a joyful celebration, or a breathtaking landscape, my goal is always the same: to create images that resonate, inspire, and stand the test of time.
